Station 1

Welcome

We welcome you to our tour with general information about the tour. You will receive a coffee walnut wood key in which the tokens that you will find on the Route will be placed. In a coffee tasting session where the inspirer will teach you to distinguish between a high quality coffee and a low quality one. In addition, the 36 aromas that we can find in a cup of coffee will be discovered.

Station 2

Basketry and Tradition

Under the guidance of our craftsman you will learn in detail everything concerning the extraction of bamboo fibers (guadua) and the weaving of a traditional coffee basket using said fibers.

You are going to finish your own small basket with the help and explanation of the craftsman.

Station 3

Land and Origin

You will pass through a natural earth tunnel, where you will be able to observe the entire composition of the earth and the roots of the coffee. The guide explains the importance and experience of the earth factor in the entire coffee process. Then you will look for the token that symbolizes the element of nature EARTH.

Station 4

Texture and Color

Here they find a spiral of glass of different sizes and colors that allow us to observe nature and the landscape in different shades. The guide explains the importance and experience of the color and texture factor. Handing over a magnifying glass so that you can see in greater detail all the splendor of the flowers that surround the station, choose a color to receive an edible flower of this color.

Station 5

Spring Water of Life

The group will enjoy in this station an environment surrounded by water, they can interact and enter the water circles barefoot. There you will find the token that symbolizes the element of nature WATER.

Station 6

Flora and Fauna

The entrance is a tunnel of foliage and flowers, through which they must enter in order to have their first contact with the flora and animals that are in charge of the pollination process, which gives the coffee those 36 aromas and flavors that They make it a delicious drink. In a special earth dome, people will be able to lie down in order to have a moment of relaxation, to also find the touch that in turn symbolizes the AIR element.

Station 7

Sun and Shadow

In this area you will find a nest of a bird called "oropendola", which is built using tree branches, and that on our route is built on a human scale. In addition, the inspirer will be in charge of being very emphatic in the need to have coffee plantations in the open field and others with a provision of shade trees depending on the situation and the variety. Here, you will find the touch of sun and shadow that represents the element of FIRE.

Station 8

Beneficiary

At this station, they will be able to observe, understand and interact with the process of wet coffee processing while understanding its importance in the coffee cultural landscape.

Station 9

Ceramics

In the penultimate station they will have the opportunity to unleash their inner artist as they paint their own sculpture in order to reflect what was most significant in relation to the Coffee Route. The explanation of the meaning of the sculpture will be given by our inspirer showing the essence of the tour.

Station 10

Coffee flavor

In the last station you will be able to see a coffee preparation under an unconventional method that represents the art that it has, in addition to sitting in front of a wonderful view towards the valleys, the mountains and the coffee plantations in a living room that we created at the end of the route, while the tourist takes a cup of that coffee from which he previously saw his preparation.

Finally, they will return to the welcome station through the coffee plantations of the Hacienda.
